Preferred Clinical Skills and Knowledge General and Plastics surgery * Assists in performing Plastic and cosmetic procedures, and administration of medications * Provides patient education and is knowledgeable on post procedure care, skin care, sun safety and prescription instructions/potential side effects. * Prepares and assists provider with procedures Surgical Procedures * Proficient in sterile technique while assisting in surgical procedures * Skilled in postoperative care including but not limited to bandage changes and suture removal Medical documentation * Obtains and documents in EMR accurate patient medical history * Understands principles of medical documentation and coding/billing * Efficiently utilizes EMR software to accurately capture the patient's encounter Required Education and experience * RN License * 1-2 years in a plastics or surgical environment Apply Now to learn more!
