Charter Foods, a franchisee of top brands in the Food & Beverage industry, is searching for an Assistant Food Service Manager to assist the Restaurant General Manager in ensuring outstanding shift management and compliance with Charter Foods and brand standards. As an Assistant Food Service Manager, you'll take ownership of your responsibilities, solve problems with a positive attitude, and provide guidance to your team. Your role will involve managing inventory, ensuring Team Members and Shift Managers complete assigned tasks, and maintaining financial accountability. Your friendly approach will guarantee prompt delivery of safe, quality food to our customers. You will also play a vital role in creating a safe environment for both employees and customers.

Job Requirements and Essential Functions

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 1-3 years of supervisory experience in a food service or retail setting, including managing Profit and Loss.
• Willing to work a 50-hour work week.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Basic computer skills.
• Reliable transportation is a must.
• Basic math and accounting skills, along with strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
• Able to perform physical tasks such as sweeping, mopping, lifting and disposing of trash, and cleaning the restaurant grounds.
• Must be capable of standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs., and bending for 80% of the shift.
