We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In this role, you will oversee financial transactions, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with accounting principles. This is a Contract-to-Permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity to grow within our organization.

Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
• Utilize Sage 50 software for recording and monitoring financial transactions.
• Prepare financial reports and statements to support organizational decision-making.
• Maintain organized and accurate filing systems for all financial documents.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.
• Monitor budgets and expenses to support financial efficiency.
• Handle vendor communications and ensure timely payments and procurement.
• Assist with audits and ensure compliance with accounting regulations.
• Provide general administrative support when necessary to maintain smooth office operations.• Proven experience in bookkeeping or a related financial role.
• Proficiency in Sage 50 or similar accounting software.
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in financial data entry.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive financial information.
• Familiarity with payroll processing and budget management is a plus.
