The Brand Ambassador role is to assist GEHA in meeting its goal of providing value-add healthcare products & wellbeing programs for our federal employees. This is a part-time (up to 20 hours per week), independent contractor position, offering schedule flexibility, paid travel time and travel expense reimbursement to attend health fairs in your area, with an excellent hourly rate. No benefits are offered with this role.

Work location: field-based; mileage reimbursement for travel to events. This position may require valid drivers license and access to reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Build awareness of GEHAs healthcare product portfolio within target markets by attending and coordinating local enrollment and wellbeing events.
• Serve as interface between federal employees and GEHA at events, providing excellent service and product knowledge.
• Become an expert in GEHAs products & services and build awareness of the healthcare industry and local market.
• Strictly adhere to relevant regulatory & compliance guidelines.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and face-to-face presentation skills.
• Utilize sales abilities and interpersonal skills; knowledge of account management and/or sales experience is preferred; healthcare/insurance industry experience is a plus.
• Effectively organize and present information in group settings, both formal and informal.
• Work independently or collaboratively as a self-starter.
• Proficient in basic computer applications (Email, Word, Excel, Salesforce, PowerPoint).
• Maintain strong organization and communication skills.
• Field-based role requiring a valid drivers license and ability to provide own transportation to events; mileage reimbursed.
• Available to work up to 20 hours a week, Monday through Friday, between 7:00 am and 6:00 pm.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and pass security clearance to enter Federal facilities.

Work-at-Home Requirements

• Ability to provide a non-cellular High Speed Internet Service (fiber, DSL, or cable) for a home office.
• Minimum speed requirement: 30x5 Mbps; latency lower than 80 ms.
• Hotspots, satellite, and wireless internet service are not allowed for this role.
• A dedicated workspace with protections for member PHI / HIPAA information.
