BUILDING/CODE COMPLIANCE INSPECTOR Ready to use your construction experience to advance your career? The Town of Winter Park is seeking an individual with experience and knowledge of the construction industry for our next Building/Code Compliance Inspector. This position, under the direction and supervision of the Building Official and Community Development Director, will enforce and regulate standards to safeguard life, health, property, and welfare through enforcement of the adopted Town code and standards.
Responsibilities include performing building, plumbing, mechanical inspections, reviewing plans and enforcing Town Municipal Codes. The job description can be found at wpgov.com/jobs. An associates in construction technology, construction management, or a related field is desired.
Qualified candidates should have at least three years of building construction or inspection experience. ICC certification preferred and is required to be obtained within one year of employment.
