Job Description
Position OpeningChildren’s Library Assistant Responsibilities: Provides customer service, registering patrons, checking materials out, and helping patrons locate materials; enters patron application data into the library’s circulation software; does shelving, monthly housekeeping, and other assigned tasks.Hours : 10.5 - 17.5 hours/week
Shift flexibility required: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays
(4:00 - 8:00 pm)
Every 2nd Saturday (9:30 am - 5:00 pm)
Hourly Wage : $13.26/hour
Benefits: Vacation: Prorated to hours worked
Sick Leave: Prorated to hours worked
Desired Minimum Training and Experience
High School diploma or equivalent required. Excellent customer service skills and experience working with various computer software are required.
