OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Freelance Copy Editor / Proofreader for ongoing freelance projects. This role involves editing and proofreading a variety of content, primarily focused on B2B marketing writing. The ideal candidate will have experience with AWS or Microsoft platforms, as well as partner marketing experience or knowledge.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review and edit technical and marketing content for clarity, grammar, accuracy, and adherence to brand guidelines.
• Ensure all content is factually accurate and compliant with industry standards.
• Collaborate with writers and content creators to refine and improve messaging.
• Proofread documents for errors in spelling, punctuation, and syntax.
• Provide constructive feedback to content creators, maintaining a consistent voice and style.
• Manage multiple editing projects simultaneously, adhering to tight deadlines.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience as a copy editor or proofreader, particularly in a B2B environment.
• Familiarity with AWS, Microsoft, or their partner ecosystems is highly preferred.
• Experience in partner marketing or writing related to cloud computing, IT services, or similar fields.
• Strong understanding of B2B marketing strategies and terminologies.
• Exceptional command of the English language, including grammar, style, and spelling.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a remote setting.
• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
