Creative Arts Therapist - Limited permits welcome! Limited Permit - $29.38/hour Fully Licensed - $32.92/hour Full-time Monday-Friday. Must be flexible in working 2 evening shifts per week Article 31/Article 32 Glen Cove, NY

The Charles Evans Center (CEC) is a leading not-for-profit located in Nassau County. We have great opportunities for positive, motivated individuals to work in an OMH/OASAS outpatient clinic setting. In this position, you will: Responsible for person centered treatment planning and implementation of therapeutic group therapy programming. Provide individual and group treatment using creative arts therapy techniques in music, art, and dance. Plan and implement a structured experience to enhance patient self-awareness and self-expression. Encourage independent creative expression through the use of creative arts, music or related media. Maintain current clinical documentation on all patients' sessions. We require: Master’s degree in Creative Arts Therapy. NYS Licensed Creative Arts Therapist, or limited permit. Minimum of one (1) year related experience, preferred. Experience providing art and other creative activities.
