SteelGate LLC is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team. We're looking for an experienced professional to play a critical role in protecting our systems and data. This position requires strong expertise in cyber defense, incident response, and risk management. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: conducting in-depth cyber metrics analysis, incident response, and mitigation efforts, performing risk assessment and risk mitigation analysis, and develop contingency plans to ensure business continuity, analyzing and manage system and network vulnerabilities, maintaining all day-to-day Vulnerability Remediation Asset Management (VRAM) activities, and ensuring compliance with all relevant public laws, national, and DoD cybersecurity guidance. Required Qualifications • DoD Top Secret SCI security clearance • Ability to work on-site at NNSY • A bachelor's degree in an IT-related discipline OR a Level II Certification (Security+ or better) AND a minimum of four (4) years of experience in cybersecurity analysis. • At least four (4) years of experience with mission-critical IT and cybersecurity procedures, systems, and processes. • Experience with cybersecurity concepts, requirements, and system/network vulnerability analysis. • Proven experience in risk assessment and mitigation, and contingency planning. • Hands-on experience with firewall policy and ports & protocols. • Proficiency with VRAM, including uploading vulnerability scans. • Expertise with cybersecurity applications such as ACAS, HBSS, MDE, MDI, and Splunk. • Expert knowledge of cybersecurity requirements outlined in: o FISMA, DoDD 8100.02, DODI 8500.01, DoDI 8520, DoDI 8530, DoDI 8531, SECNAV 5239 Series, OPNAV 5239 Series, and NIST Special Publications Series 800. o OPNAVINST N9210.3 Safeguarding Naval Nuclear Propulsion Information. • Fully qualified in accordance with DoD 8570.01M.
