The role involves training employees, performing quality checks, and interacting with engineering and production personnel. Responsibilities Read and interpret instructions, schematics, blueprints, and drawings. Use assembly drawings, schematics, and bills of materials to work from and solve problems. Identify parts by description, drawings, and measurements. Operate hand tools, drill presses, grinders, tape measures, and vernier calipers. Build contactors, power taps, and sub-assemblies from shop orders and wiring schematics. Rework and repair assembled equipment per engineering specifications. Ensure proper completion of production logs. Perform quality checks and audits to meet standards. Provide feedback on quality issues to employees and supervisors. Collaborate with engineering on manufacturing issues and new product development. Maintain 5S standards in work areas. Train employees on products and methods. Secondary Responsibilities Act as backup in kitting jobs. Perform other duties as assigned. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Qualifications High school or vocational education with 1-3 years of assembly experience. Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and schematics.
