Volt is immediately hiring an Industrial Engineer in Forest City, IA with a well-known industry leader. This is a first shift position. As an Industrial Engineer you will: Be Responsible for providing analysis and project management support for the Distribution organization. Identify improvement opportunities, supporting the growth and development of the distribution network. Coordinate and manage the implementation of improvements. Establish and maintain engineered labor standards across the Distribution network based on best practices. Provide functional support for the Warehouse Management System, including Labor Management, Slotting and Reporting. Build staffing planning models to aid in DC management and Distribution network planning. Assist in determining metrics to guide Supply Chain management. Estimated Duration 24+ months The ideal candidate will have: Bachelor’s Degree in an applicable engineering discipline.
