UNC Family Medicine at Hillsborough is hiring a Physician! Located in the heart of Hillsborough, UNC Family Medicine at Hillsborough is a full service family practice, treating both children and adults. Our care team provides compassionate and personalized care.
Services :
• EKG and pulmonary-function testing
• Concussion management
• Diabetes education
• Healthy lifestyle education
• HIV PrEP
• Immunizations
• Joint and soft-tissue injections
• Management of acute and chronic diseases such as hypertention and diabetes
• Medication Therapy for Opiod Use Disorder
• Nutrition counseling
• Physicals
• Preventative care
• Screening tests
• Sports medicine including nonsurgical orthopedic procedures
• Well-child visits
• Women's health
Practice Hours :
Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
Qualifications :
• Medical School Graduate (MD/DO)
• Board certified family medicine required
• NC State License preferred
• FCVS profile preferred for those without NC license but not required

Education Requirements: • Active member of the Rex Hospital Medical Staff, including meeting the Board Certification requirements. Graduation from an accredited school of medicine.
Licensure/Certification Requirements: • None required.
• DEA;ACLS;MD
Professional Experience Requirements: • Prefer prior hospitalist experience.
Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements: • Language Skills: Should be able to communicate proficiently in English.
REASONING ABILITY
High-level quantitative and qualitative reason skills are essential in order to diagnosis medical and clinical issues presented by patients.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
North Carolina Medical License, DEA License, BLS/ACLS certification preferred. Board certified in Internal Medicine.
