A law firm seeks an Immigration Attorney - EOIR in Fort Worth, TX. This role offers a promising opportunity for a dedicated attorney to gain valuable experience and advance their career. The position involves managing a caseload, client interaction, and collaboration with a team of attorneys and legal assistants. This hybrid role requires in-person court appearances. Duties Explain immigration concepts and present strategic solutions. Represent individuals in removal proceedings at Immigration Court and Board of Immigration Appeals. Manage a workload of cases. Conduct intake with detained individuals at centers. Prepare diverse immigration applications, including removal defense and family-based petitions. Review and adjust immigration applications/packets as needed. Collaborate with law enforcement and community organizations on immigration law changes. Conduct strategic immigration consultations with potential clients. Develop strategies and prepare clients/witnesses for court/USCIS testimony. Prepare and submit legal briefs for various immigration cases. Requirements 1-5 years of immigration law experience. Team player with strong interpersonal skills. Preferably bilingual (English/Spanish). Proven ability to manage a caseload and move legal cases forward. Experience with family-based petitions, humanitarian, EOIR, detained, citizenship, and other USCIS applications. Experience with case management software is preferred. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Admitted to practice law. Skills Strong legal analysis and strategic planning skills. Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
