Hiring for a Maintenance Specialist

Hours: 7pm-7am 223 Shift

Pay: 35-40/hr

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at a chemical plant. This role requires expertise in maintaining and troubleshooting motors, pumps, and various sensors. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of blueprints and electrical diagrams, with significant experience in the chemical manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair motors, pumps, and sensors including heat, pressure, photo eyes, and flow sensors.
• Read and interpret blueprints and electrical diagrams for effective maintenance tasks.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
• Perform electrical and PLC troubleshooting to maintain efficient operation.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and standards at all times.

Essential Skills

• Experience in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Strong knowledge of preventative maintenance practices.
• Expertise in electrical, pneumatics, and PLC troubleshooting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Must have prior experience in chemical manufacturing.

This is a Contract position based out of Charlotte, NC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
