Job Title: Medical Records Retrieval Agent / Outbound Call Center Agent
Start Date: 10/27/2025
Location: Remote (Work from Home) – Eastern Time Zone Hours
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:45 AM – 5:15 PM EST (Must work Eastern Time hours regardless of your time zone)

Job Summary:
Randstad is seeking motivated individuals to join our team as  Medical Records Retrieval Agents . In this role, you will make outbound calls to healthcare facilities to request and obtain medical records on behalf of our clients. This is a  high-volume call center position requiring assertiveness, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask across multiple platforms.

Ideal candidates will have 2 years or less of experience in debt collections or call center environments and are comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting. A quiet, distraction-free work environment is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Initiate outbound calls to providers, pharmacies, patients, and carriers to confirm receipt of requests and follow up on outstanding documentation.
• Provide timely responses and resolutions to provider-initiated inquiries via phone, email, or fax.
• Review documentation and claim data to determine next steps.
• Update account details and provider information in internal systems.
• Assist with high-priority special projects as assigned.
• Perform additional duties as needed.

Training:

• Four weeks of paid training is mandatory.
• Training includes two weeks of classroom-based instruction followed by two weeks of assisted calling ("nesting").
• Performance during training will be evaluated to determine readiness for production.

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• 45 WPM typing speed with 95% accuracy.
• Stable internet connection (Minimum 25 Mbps download / 5 Mbps upload).
• Basic technical skills (e.g., clearing cache and cookies).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including proper grammar and spelling.
• Experience using Microsoft Teams, Gmail, Outlook, Zoom, or similar applications.
• Must be able to work independently with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Strong computer navigation abilities.
• Previous call center experience is required.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Prior experience in debt collections or outbound call environments.
• Basic computer troubleshooting skills.
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations.

Attendance Requirement (Training Period):
To successfully complete the training and nesting period, perfect attendance is required. No late arrivals, early departures, or absences will be allowed during the first four weeks due to the structured nature of the training content. 100% attendance required from 10/27/2025 - 11/24/2025.

PTO - 6 pto/vacation hours accumulated every month after the 30 day mark and 5 sick days provided once a year. The PTO hours can roll over. 9 paid holidays as well.

Eligible to enroll in benefits following the first 30 days of employment.
