Next Ventures is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Oracle Cloud ERP Supply Chain Functional Consultant for a contract role with our client in the Bay Area. Job Title: Oracle Cloud Supply Chain Functional Consultant Location: San Francisco Bay Area Travel: 50-70% onsite Duration: 10 months + ext Responsibilities: Participate in all phases of the Oracle Cloud ERP implementation crucially, the planning and execution of testing phases, with a strong focus on User Acceptance Testing. Conduct workshops with business users to understand their supply chain processes and translate them into Oracle Cloud ERP solutions, ensuring testability is considered from the outset. Configure Oracle Cloud Supply Chain modules such as Inventory Management, Order Management, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Planning. Develop and maintain functional design documents, configuration workbooks, and detailed test scripts specifically for UAT scenarios. Lead and facilitate User Acceptance Testing sessions with business users, providing guidance and support throughout the process. Act as the primary point of contact for business users during UAT, effectively capturing feedback, documenting defects, and working with the technical team for resolution. Perform system testing, and provide comprehensive support during the go-live phase, leveraging insights gained from UAT. Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues identified during all testing phases, including UAT and post-go-live. Collaborate effectively with technical consultants for integrations, data migrations, and customisations, ensuring these are thoroughly tested during UAT. Stay up-to-date with the latest Oracle Cloud ERP features and functionalities, considering their impact on testing strategies. Provide knowledge transfer and end-user training as required, ensuring users are well-prepared for UAT. Qualifications and Experience: Proven experience (typically 5+ years) as a Functional Consultant specializing in Oracle ERP Supply Chain implementations, with significant experience in planning, executing, and managing User Acceptance Testing. Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud ERP Supply Chain modules is essential. Strong understanding of core supply chain business processes (e.g., Plan to Produce, Source to Pay, Order to Cash), with the ability to develop realistic UAT scenarios. Experience in gathering and documenting business requirements, with a focus on ensuring requirements are testable. Ability to configure Oracle Cloud ERP Supply Chain modules independently and translate configurations into effective UAT test cases. Solid experience in system testing and a deep understanding of the principles and best practices of User Acceptance Testing. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail during testing. Strong communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with business users during UAT. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, managing UAT timelines and deliverables effectively. Experience with data migration and integrations related to Oracle Cloud ERP is desirable, with experience in validating these through UAT. Experience with reporting tools relevant to Supply Chain in Oracle Cloud ERP is a plus, including testing the accuracy of reports during UAT.
