Job Title: Personal Assistant to CEO

Industry: Professional Services / Executive Support

Location (City, State): Great Falls, VA (with travel to Rockville, MD as needed)

Assignment Type: Contract-to-Hire

Pay: $26–31/hour (depending on experience)

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, approximately 12:00 PM–6:00 PM, with flexibility for evening and weekend events

Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

Addison Group’s client, a well-established organization in the professional services and technology space, is seeking a polished and proactive Personal Assistant to provide dedicated support to their CEO. This is a dynamic role ideal for someone experienced in managing both professional and personal priorities for high-level executives.

Job Description:

The Personal Assistant will provide comprehensive administrative and personal support to the CEO, ensuring her day-to-day operations run smoothly. This includes calendar coordination, meeting preparation, event attendance, and hands-on assistance with personal tasks and errands. The role also involves driving the CEO to various meetings and events in a company-provided vehicle, maintaining a professional presence, and anticipating needs before they arise.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the CEO’s daily schedule, appointments, and travel arrangements.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for meeting coordination, communications, and logistics.
  • Assist with personal and household tasks such as errands, deliveries, and event preparation.
  • Drive the CEO to and from meetings, events, and the company’s headquarters as needed.
  • Prepare materials and take detailed notes during meetings.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work and vehicle environment.
  • Support occasional weekend and evening engagements or programs as required.
  • Coordinate with internal staff and external contacts to ensure the CEO’s priorities are met seamlessly.
Qualifications:
  • 5–10+ years of professional or personal support experience at the executive level.
  • Proven success managing multiple priorities and fast-changing schedules.
  • Excellent driving record; valid driver’s license required.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Microsoft Teams.
  • Professional, polished, and “Type A” personality — proactive and attentive to detail.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder.
Additional Details:
  • Contract-to-hire opportunity with potential for full-time conversion based on performance.
  • Candidate will be required to complete a full background check, driving record review, and drug screening.
  • Candidate will operate a company vehicle for daily travel between Great Falls, VA, and Rockville, MD.
  • 40 hours per week, eligible for overtime.
