About ARC®

ChargeItSpot’s flagship product, ARC , is an intelligent device management system designed to secure, track, and charge company-owned handheld devices that employees use to do their jobs (e.g. package scan, inventory check, mPOS, etc.). ARC exists to reduce the number of missing devices, recover lost productivity, and eliminate wasted payroll consumed by managers and associates.

The Candidate

Join us as our QA Automation Engineer where you'll play a pivotal role in transforming our testing landscape. Take charge of developing and implementing our test automation strategies, build cutting-edge frameworks from scratch as we embark on our journey towards automated excellence. Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using Cypress, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Develop and execute API and UI automation tests.
• Perform manual testing to validate new features, identify edge cases, and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Create and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for both automated and manual testing.
• Create and optimize testing frameworks and pipelines for functional, integration, and performance testing.
• Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Perform thorough regression testing and identify and report defects.
• Work closely with software engineers to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving testing processes.
• Experience with modern testing tools such as Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, RestAssured, Postman.
• Proficiency with modern scripting language for automation such as TypeScript or JavaScript.
• Stay up to date with the latest testing tools and technologies.
• Contribute to the overall quality and success of the product.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in software testing with at least 2 years in QA Manual and Automation.
• Strong experience with Cypress, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience in manual testing, including test case creation, execution, and defect tracking.
• Experience with API testing (e.g., REST Assured, Postman).
• Experience with UI automation testing frameworks using Cypress.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps).
• Experience with Jira and Defect management tools.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Bonus Points

• Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
• Experience with cloud-based testing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with mobile testing.

Location

We are headquartered in Philadelphia, PA, and have opted a hybrid work model. The successful candidate is expected to be in the office at least three days a week, while ensuring alignment with East Coast business hours.
