Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A part-time opportunity is available for a licensed Physical Therapist to support K-12 students in a school-based setting in Metairie, LA. This contract role spans the full school year, providing a chance to apply specialized therapy skills in an educational environment focused on childrens developmental needs.

Key Qualifications:

• Masters or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Valid Louisiana Physical Therapy license
• Previous experience working with pediatric populations, preferably within a school setting

Primary Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, treat, and monitor students requiring physical therapy services to improve mobility, strength, balance, and coordination
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to develop individualized intervention plans tailored to each students needs
• Maintain thorough documentation of therapy sessions and progress to ply with educational and healthcare guidelines
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to creating a supportive learning environment for students

Location and Schedule:

• Position based in Metairie, LA, within a K-12 educational setting
