Our client, a leading distributor in the manufacturing sector, is seeking a Senior CNC Machinist Lead to join their team. This position is a Direct Hire opportunity. As a Senior CNC Machinist Lead, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a commitment to quality, and a collaborative spirit which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Senior CNC Machinist Lead (Direct Hire)
Location: Orchard Park, NY
Pay Range: $70K-$74K
Shift: 4:00pm-2:30am - Monday-Thursday 

What's the Job?

• Program, set up, and operate CNC equipment in your designated area.
• Utilize inspection equipment to validate tolerances and ensure quality standards.
• Monitor production levels and maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Assign jobs and machines to team members and lead effective shift handovers.
• Train and develop team members through coaching and process improvements.

What's Needed?

• Five years of CNC machining experience, including programming and operation.
• Experience with Mazak/Mazatrol is preferred.
• CNC machine certification is a plus.
• Supervisory experience leading a team
• Ability to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
