We are seeking a qualified Senior Electrical Engineer to support power generation projects, including natural gas and renewable energy, serving as Owner’s Engineer and/or Advisor. Opportunities are available in multiple locations across the US. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in power generation and distribution, protection and motor control design, power system studies, and related fields. Responsibilities include leading design projects, mentoring engineers, managing client relationships, and supporting marketing activities. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical Power emphasis) Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Control Systems Engineering Minimum 15 years of experience in electrical power generation design Design experience with simple cycle and combined cycle power plants Experience with power consulting or EPC firms preferred Strong communication and leadership skills Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering At least 10 years of experience PE or P.Eng license Experience in Power Market Sector project execution Proficiency in Power Sector design software and Microsoft Office HDR is committed to diversity and inclusion, offering comprehensive benefits and fostering a supportive environment.
