Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time Certified Texas-licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position offers an engaging opportunity to provide essential therapy services to elementary students in the Houston area. The role supports speech and language development through evaluations, supervision of speech therapy assistants, and participation in referral and Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings. The assignment spans from now through June 4, 2026.

Location: Houston, TX (East/Southeast Metro area)
Setting: Elementary Schools (in-person or virtual options available)
Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Duration: Current school year contract (CSY)

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Texas SLP license (required)
• School-based experience as an SLP is essential
• Candidates who have passed technical screening and completed virtual school-based SLP assignments (VOCO candidates) are encouraged to apply
• Bilingual skills are a strong plus
• Must not be in SLP Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
• Ability to complete required fingerprinting promptly after contract signing
• Comfortable with commuting to Carrillo ES and Gallegos ES locations

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech therapy evaluations and assessments
• Provide direct therapy services to elementary students
• Supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs)
• Participate actively in referral discussions and IEP meetings
• Collaborate with educational teams to support individualized student goals

• Interviews conducted via Microsoft Teams (1530 minutes)
