Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available within a K-12 school serving elementary and Pre-K students in Shelby, NC. This contract position runs through May 20th, 2026, with an immediate start date. The role offers a structured 37.5-hour workweek across five days, providing consistent engagement with a dynamic student population.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Hold a valid North Carolina Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) License
  • Possess credentials such as CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) or be actively completing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Experience in school-based SLP settings preferred
  • Skilled in assessing and treating speech and language disorders in children

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and screenings for speech and language impairments
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for elementary and Pre-K students
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress
  • Maintain documentation and compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to fostering communication skills within the school community
