Staff Accountant job details include:
Schedule: Mon-Thurs 7:00am - 4:30pm, Friday 7:00am - 11:00am
Salary: $50,000 - $55,000/yr.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of accounts payable, including vendor profiles, W-9, 1099 reporting, and invoice coding.
• Reconcile credit card statements and general ledger accounts.
• Prepare monthly sales/use tax information and payroll journal entries.
• Review and adjust general ledger accounts and perform account reconciliations.
• Maintain fixed asset records and assist with month-end/year-end closing processes.
• Provide support during annual audits and assist the Accounting Manager as needed.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Five years of related experience and a bachelor's degree in accounting.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, is required, with ERP software experience as a plus.
• Strong organizational, time management, and independent work skills are essential, along with excellent interpersonal, communication, and judgment abilities.
• Must have strong written and verbal skills, be detail-oriented, reliable, and maintain confidentiality.
