Tax Manager

Description

·        Review individual, partnership, trust, and corporate returns and other accounting and tax documents

·        Supervise develop, and mentor tax associates

·        Develop tax strategies and policies that comply with tax laws and regulations

·        Advise individual clients and businesses on tax planning, research, and compliance

·        Identify and resolve tax problems

·        Keep up to date with tax legislation and inform and train staff of changes

·        Prepare and file state and federal tax returns and documents

·        Strong client interface skills

Qualifications

·         Bachelor's degree in Accounting

·         CPA license or Enrolled Agent required

·         2+ years’ experience in reviewing tax returns

·         2+ years’ experience managing staff

·         6+ years’ experience in a public accounting tax group

·         5-6+ years’ tax prep experience for business, both SCorp and Partnership returns

·         Excellent analytical and technical tax skills with strong attention to detail

·         Exceptional client service and communication skills

·         Ability to manage multiple tasks competing projects in a rapidly growing firm

·        Proven team oriented leadership

·        Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills
