Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position, requiring a Massachusetts RN license and strong critical care background.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Position is in the Interventional Radiology department of a busy community hospital
• Covers a wide range of minimally invasive, image-guided procedures for diverse clinical cases
• Work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with no rotating shifts or weekend requirements
• Patient care is provided on a 1:1 basis
• Epic is used for electronic charting
• No floating required
• Provide patient preparation, procedural support, conscious sedation, and post-procedure recovery in collaboration with Interventional Radiologists and Technologists
• Fast-paced environment with a focus on teamwork and critical thinking
• Hospital has a total bed count of 358
• No first-time travelers; experienced candidates preferred
• Proof of MA licensure required for consideration
• RTO (requested time off) must be included at time of application
• Scrubs or dress code not specified
• Parking is not validated; public transportation and lots are options, with daily parking rates ranging from $17 to $22

\n \n Requirements\n

• Active Massachusetts RN license required; conditional or pending licenses are not accepted
• Three years of Med/Surg experience and at least one year of Critical Care (ICU or ED) experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA required
• Proficiency in moderate sedation and IV access necessary
• Primary source verification of license and certifications needed within 30 days of start date
• COVID-19 and flu vaccination required, with no exemptions allowed
