**From Stitch to Sky: PDS Tech Commercial Wants You to Bring Your Upholstery Skills to a Leading Aerospace Company!** **Location:** Savannah, GA | **Pay Rate:** $23.32/hour | **Schedule:** Full-Time: 1st Shift (5:30am - 4pm) **Shape the Interiors That Define Flight** As an Upholstery Technician I, you'll play a hands-on role in bringing precision, craftsmanship, and comfort to aircraft interiors. Working alongside experienced professionals in the aerospace industry, you'll help create the premium cabin environments that elevate the flying experience. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will directly impact both safety and aesthetics-two pillars of world-class aviation. **What You'll Do** + Fabricate and install upholstery, cover panels, and make simple patterns for aircraft interiors following engineering drawings and specifications. + Fit and finish interior components such as panels, windows, cabin headliners, sidewalls, hatches, and bulkheads. + Cut, surge, and install carpets according to design specifications. + Operate commercial sewing machines, sergers, and various hand tools used in upholstery and carpet trades. + Create and install carpet patterns per design drawings and engineering guidelines. + Use the material tracking system to generate part demands, record work completion, and resolve discrepancies. + Ensure all tasks meet FAA, customer, and company standards for quality and compliance. + Perform additional duties as assigned, supporting the interior completion and customization process. **What We're Looking For** **Required Qualifications:** + High School Diploma or GED. + 2 years of experience using commercial sewing machines, sergers, or hand tools used in upholstery or carpet work. + Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English proficiently. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints, design drawings, and engineering documentation. + Basic math skills and familiarity with measuring tools. + Computer literacy and ability to use material tracking systems. + Willingness to climb ladders, work in confined areas, lift up to 40 lbs., and adapt to various shifts. **Highly Preferred Qualifications:** + Prior aerospace or aircraft upholstery experience. + Experience with Gulfstream specifications or similar aviation standards. **Why Join Us** At PDS Tech Commercial, you're not just building interiors-you're building a career.
