HII Mission Technologies is seeking an experienced Web Designer to join our team in Honolulu, Hawaii. This role focuses on developing, maintaining, and enhancing web-based content to ensure user engagement, accessibility, and strategic communication.

What You Will Do: Design and develop agency website content to optimize user engagement, decision-making, and benefits delivery. Maintain and update civil service handbooks, policies, and procedures on the agency website. Assist in the creation of agency newsletters and civilian benefits communications. Recommend innovative web-based solutions, ensuring modern digital experiences. Train and educate employees on effective web utilization and best practices. Identify and pursue content opportunities, surveying internal customers to gather feedback for site improvements. Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance website usability, functionality, and design quality. Ensure compliance with security protocols and DoD regulations for web-based applications. What We're Looking For: 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience. Strong familiarity with website development practices, user experience (UX), and digital content strategy. Ability to work under general supervision, leading efforts in website optimization and enhancement. Active DoD Secret Clearance required; must be eligible to obtain TS/SCI clearance. Preferred Requirements Expertise in user-centered web design, accessibility, and information architecture. Experience in government or defense-related web content management. Strong ability to engage internal stakeholders and drive digital communication strategies.
