LOUIS AREA** Senior Web/ECommerce Developer Blayzer Digital is a growing web development and marketing company in St. Louis. We provide our clients with online marketing, video production and lead generation services. Blayzer builds ecommerce, content management and custom solutions for web and mobile. We’re looking for a Senior Web/ECommerce Developer to build solid, open source products. In this position you will build custom solutions to allow you to be able to apply and gain cutting edge skills and experience in a rapidly changing industry. The ideal candidate for our web development role is an experienced web developer who feels comfortable taking the lead on projects and has the ability to meet deadlines. What to expect in this role:

Work with a team of developers to deliver on time and scope.
Work with a team to diagnose and resolve bugs and support requests.
Collaborate with the product owner to articulate the best technological business solution.
Write high quality code with readability, efficiency and maintainability in mind.
Mentor junior developers.
Scope new work.

Technical Qualifications:

Mobile app development and work with Angular/Ionic/React
Media queries and responsive CSS- either hand coding or using responsive CSS frameworks (Twitter, Bootstrap, Zurb, Foundation, etc.)
WordPress* You should be deeply familiar with the WordPress platform, and have experience developing custom themes and plug-ins.
Develop and maintain complex WordPress-based applications
Develop WordPress widgets, plug-ins, custom post types, and page templates
5-7 years experience in the following technologies is required: PHP, HTML, CSS, Javascript/jQuery, SQL, PHP
3-5 years experience in CMS development
Experience working with CMS, ECommerce, Framework platforms, and backend frameworks (WordPress, Laravel, Code Ignitor, Opencart, Adobe Commerce (Magento), Drupal, etc.
Extensive understanding of core Internet delivery technology
Thorough experience in the analysis and design of software systems
Ability to make decisions and drive platform architecture and solutions
Strong technical knowledge of host configurations and a variety of hosting solutions
XML, JSON, and AJAX
RESTful API design
OAuth

Understand search engine optimization (SEO)
Leverage technologies such as React/Ionic/Angular, PHP, Bootstrap, JavaScript, WordPress, HTML5, CSS3, to develop mobile-responsive websites and applications in an agile environment.
Demonstrated ability to translate visual designs into completed HTML pages while strictly adhering to design specifications
Knowledge of full stack web development
Ability to ensure cross browser compatibility and resolve bugs
Ability to establish and implement front-end structure and standards as well as stay current with emerging front-end technologies.
Implement complex features using modern PHP code and patterns while following standards.
Implementation of restful services for product sector.

Requirements:

Previous experience with MVC frameworks and web services is required.
Experience working with creative/design/marketing firms or departments is a plus.
Strong written communication.
Strong background (fulfill all technology qualifications as outlined above).
Able to work in a team environment.
Able to work a 9-5 schedule, with some flexibility.
