As a Certified Sterile Processing Technician , you will play a crucial role in ensuring patient safety and supporting essential surgical care. Your expertise will help the surgical team by preparing sterilized instruments and supplies that are vital for successful procedures.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

In this rewarding position, your key responsibilities will include:

• Cleaning, inspecting, assembling, and sterilizing surgical instruments to ensure they are ready for use.
• Managing sterilization equipment and maintaining accurate records to uphold patient safety.
• Preparing surgical sets and case carts tailored to specific surgical procedures.
• Overseeing inventory management and collaborating with surgical staff to ensure seamless operations.
• Responding swiftly to instrument requests during surgeries and addressing urgent equipment needs.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) certification.
• Must obtain Certified Instrument Specialist (CIS) certification within 6 months of employment.

No travel requirements and no prior experience necessary.
