Job Duties
Assist in the setup and maintenance of manufacturing equipment and systems.
Support engineers in analyzing production processes to identify areas for improvement.
Implement lean manufacturing principles under the guidance of engineers to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
Collaborate with production teams to ensure the manufacturability of new products.
Troubleshoot and resolve basic manufacturing issues.
Required Skills and Experience
Associate's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, related field or equivalent experience.
2-4+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Lean experience, has conducted time studies, has experience with process documentation.
Experience in sheet metal/metal fabrication industry.
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Hands-on experience with manufacturing tools and equipment.
Basic knowledge of safety and quality standards in manufacturing
