Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to perform electronic, mechanical, and electro-mechanical tests, as well as routine inspections and adjustments on various machines. This role ensures the safe and efficient operation of such equipment while adhering to all safety and quality procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a variety of electronic, mechanical, and electro-mechanical tests on systems, subassemblies, and parts to ensure they meet specifications or to diagnose failures.
• Perform routine inspections, adjustments, and repairs on elevators, escalators, and related equipment.
• Use technical manuals, diagnostic equipment, and various techniques to find and fix faults, restoring equipment to service.
• Complete all necessary service documentation, records, and reports accurately.
• Adhere strictly to all company safety policies, procedures, and quality standards.
• Attend relevant training to stay up-to-date on technical knowledge and skills.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency with electronic test instruments and diagnostic procedures.
• Ability to effectively use written and graphical information, such as technical manuals.
• Aptitude for diagnosing and resolving complex issues.
• Commitment to following safety protocols and contributing to a safe work environment.
• Electrical troubleshooting and maintenance skills.
• Experience with hydraulics, mechanical, and pneumatics systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with 480V industrial systems.
• Ability to repair conveyors, electric motors, and VFDs.
• Experience performing preventive maintenance and facility repairs.

Work Environment

This role is based in a semi-climate controlled facility with a fairly clean environment and moderate noise levels. Safety gear, including safety glasses, steel-toed boots, and hearing protection, is required.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hanover, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $35.00/hr.
