Overview We 27re looking for a Real Estate Analyst to join our Lending team at The Hard Money Co. and play a critical role in analyzing and preparing investment opportunities across multifamily, mixed-use, industrial, and other commercial real estate assets. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who has a foundation in finance or real estate and is ready to take the next step toward becoming a full underwriter. You 7ll work alongside experienced underwriters, originators, and leadership to evaluate deals, build financial models, and help shape investment decisions. What You'll Do Support the underwriting and origination teams by preparing financial models, loan summaries, and deal conditions. Analyze borrower financials, rent rolls, operating statements, and market data to evaluate credit risk. Review and summarize third-party reports (appraisals, environmental, PCAs) to identify key risk factors. Maintain organized deal files and data systems for active and pipeline loans. Assist in drafting internal memos and presentation materials for loan committee or investor review. Collaborate with legal, processing, and closing teams to ensure smooth deal execution. Help refine internal templates, workflows, and data tracking for greater efficiency. Learn the underwriting framework used across F Street 0 ?s real estate and private debt platforms. What It Takes to Win Bachelor ?s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field. 1 A33 years of relevant experience (internships, analyst roles, or real estate finance positions). Strong analytical and Excel modeling skills. Understanding of real estate valuation, cap rates, and basic underwriting principles. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple deals in a fast-paced environment. A proactive mindset and strong attention to detail — you take initiative to find answers and drive progress. Why Join F Street?
